Mate! It’s matured in American Oak barrels.

The Auchentoshan distillery is the only distillery in Scotland still to triple distil and they aren’t far from me with them being just north of Glasgow.

Everyday is a learning day.

I’ll be trying my four Auchentoshan samples sometime today.

The two Bowmore at the top are gone, bloody awful.

The four Auch... are 15, 16, 17 and 18 year old single malts.

It’s okay in the summer though with ice, lime and lemonade.

Otherwise it’s too sweet and sickly.
